Liltera R Williams

Born to write in Jacksonville, Florida, Liltera R. Williams (LRW) fell in love with writing at age 12 and married it at 18. From the moment she began penciling down thoughts and ideas in her first diary, and then formally learning how to compose essays and pieces of fiction during her high school years at Samuel W. Wolfson High and college years at Florida State University, she knew that she would someday have an opportunity to share her gift with the world. Her given name was perhaps a foreshadowing of the works she would produce to establish herself in history as a Literary Legend.

Upon graduating from FSU in December of 2008 with a Bachelor’s degree in English (Creative Writing), LRW began blogging, then set out to build her professional portfolio by pitching stories and completing freelance assignments for various publications. She is now well known as an International Writer, Spoken Word Poet, Bestselling Author (Amazon & UBAWA), Editor, Independent Publisher and Educator via her company, iWrite4orU, which was established in August of 2011. In addition to having over 50 articles published in Jacksonville Magazine, 904 Magazine, EU Jacksonville Newspaper, The Ponte Vedra Recorder, First Coast Register, Sister2Sister Magazine, Bazaar and Khaleejesque, her author catalog includes: Amateur Thoughts: A Personal Collection of iWrite Poetry & LRW Quotes (Amazon Bestseller), Dearly Beloved S.I.S.T.A.S (UBAWA Top 100 Book of 2013 Amazon Bestseller), Words from the Write Side of My Heart (Amazon Bestseller), and LIVE YOUR DREAM: How to Set and Accomplish Deadline-Driven Goals (Number One Amazon Bestseller), PEN, PUBLISH, PROMOTE The Write Way (Detailed Guide for Aspiring Authors), LEAP: Motivation for Fearless Living (Digital Workbook) and Date Knight (in progress).

After gaining a substantial amount of local support, LRW journeyed all the way from the United States to the Middle East, focused on growing internationally. She has garnered instant success overseas, from performing at Abu Dhabi's biggest monthly open mic poetry event, Rooftop Rhythms, as well as the inaugural Abu Dhabi International Poetry Festival and featuring at Word of Mouth Kuwait to hosting workshops for aspiring writers and serving as Learning Support Assistant and Poetry Club Facilitator at Kuwait English School.

In the process of developing her LIVE YOUR DREAM movement and expanding her entrepreneurial knowledge, LRW originated and trademarked a unique term to define her mission: #WriterGrind®—a strategic quest to accomplish various writing objectives while striving to conquer the demands of authorship. She specializes in helping aspiring authors discover their potential, while also offering tutoring for teens who struggle with writing and reading comprehension.

Liltera is a lover of literature who believes that anything is possible with the determined mindset of Effort, Perseverance, and Faith. She selflessly served as the ONLY Black English Teacher (5 years) and on-site College Reach-Out Program (CROP) Coordinator for Florida State University's CARE department (2 years) at a high school in her hometown. While adjusting to her calling in the classroom, Liltera multi-tasked to obtain a Master of Fine Arts degree in Creative Writing from Full Sail University (October 2016). Now, she is actively pursuing her screenwriting goals, with two television pilot scripts circulating throughout a growing Hollywood network.

Liltera strives to be an overall inspiration for anyone seeking to find their purpose in life, while aiming to create a legacy that will be recognized and respected for years to come. In her own words, “If you're living without giving, your talents are null and void.”
